Challenge

Stay Well Travels is an independent, boutique travel agency startup with a plan to target Belize as their primary destination upon launching. Being a Belizean native, the founder had a particular idea in mind and wanted to enter the market with her best foot forward—to look polished and professional.


As the business did not exist, we were tasked with the fun challenge of creating the brand strategy from the ground up. It was up to us to develop something that would resonate with the founder and with an intended, yet undefined audience.


Blackribbit helped them tell a new story and position the brand as one’s favorite aunt—the knowing, encourage, caring guide who knows what you need even when you don’t—warm, yet informative.

Solution

Since the business was new and had no customers, we delved into the founder’s experiences and personal motivations. We met with former colleagues and friends to gain a deeper understanding of who she is as a person, what she values and how others perceive her. This process paired with our market research and situation analysis offered wonderful insights to position Stay Well Travels in a way that plays to the founders’ strengths, and also creates room for scale.

 

The TA market is saturated after all, with giants and scammers, and it’s imperative to create an air of confidence among prospective customers, partners and recruits alike. And all who interact with the brand feel lighter, brighter, and flushed with newness. With Stay Well Travels, guests have the opportunity to seize the day, their way.
