Internal Communication Program

Internal business protocols are as important as customer-facing communications.

Cohesion between departments and people is critical to running a successful organization. It influences motivation, dedication, and outside interest. A unified communication program affects a company’s brand and external perception.

To develop and nurture your company and sustain happiness among employees it’s important to acknowledge and understand your company’s cultural values and objectives. All brands are not suited for all customers, and all businesses are not suited for all employees. To begin attracting and connecting with the right people, you must first define these elements.

Begin by answering questions like, “Who are we?” “What is our purpose?” and “Who do we serve?” The answers will shed light on the type of atmosphere you want to cultivate.

Now you can create processes and protocols to consistently reinforce those values and objectives. Introduce these in many different ways including training initiatives, company outings, team building workshops, mentorship programs, integration policies, and growth opportunities.

Continue to manage and maintain these programs and ensure constant iteration. As time goes by, people’s sensibilities change, and so long as you always maintain your core values and objectives framework, you’ll be fine.

Once you set these parameters you are free to explore developing an environment that is attractive and engaging. This will reflect externally through stories told by your employees who are your greatest brand ambassadors.

Over time these efforts will increase motivation, productivity, advocacy and profitability.
